Whitney PTSA is providing Community Service Program and Awards - offering volunteering opportunities to students

Whitney PTSA Community Service Awards will be presented to all students submitting the hours as per the guidelines. In addition - Cord will be awarded during Senior Award Night to deserving graduating Seniors, and Awards to 8th Graders during Promotion night for Community Service achievements in community service programs.

Whitney PTSA Community Service Program team will announce in the month of April to submit the hours and provide guidelines on how to get qualified.

Community Service hours can be collected through the PTSA Community Service program or by volunteering at different programs offered by the community. All information and documents must be submitted with proof of hours for verification. Hours cannot be submitted for volunteer awards with other Whitney clubs.

On Campus PTSA volunteering opportunities:

Membership drive – Drive awareness on membership perks and join PTSA within your grade
Tea with the Principal – September 25th – 6:30 to 8pm. (Set up time: 5:30pm to 6pm. Snacks and tea – 6pm onwards)
Red Ribbon week – October 20th ~ 24th
Clothing drive – November, Date TBD
Reflections awards ceremony – December, Date TBD
School Cents – year round. Example: Toy Drive – December, Date TBD
8th grade promotion set up – May, Date TBD
12th grade end of the year activities -May, Date TBD
